I have to admit that while I do feel sad throughout the day at various times, I’m actually doing pretty well these last few weeks.
I am happy to make that “report,” just to let all of you sad bloggers out there know there are good days ahead.
So it’s Monday, dreaded Monday, first day of work for many, or just another day in a long, string of gray days for someone who is depressed.
Or it could be HEY! The start of the week! Can’t wait to get going!
Which camp are YOU in?
Fortunately, I am in camp 3 right now, happy to be here writing this post and sharing happy thoughts with you.
It won’t always be like this, let me warn you.
There is an old Woody Allen saying I am fond of bringing up, which says: “Eighty percent of life is showing up.”
Mr. Allen could not be telling the truth any better. Just sitting down at your desk is step one. If you make it there, you just may start blogging!
So show up for your blog, or your business, or your job, or your child, or whatever it is that you want to remove the sadness from. Carpe Diem – Seize The Day. It’s another oldie but goody.
What can you do today to improve your mood?
- Spend time with your loved ones
- Exercise
- Read a good book
- Eat a good dinner
It could be one of a million things, but just do it. At least just for today. See if it makes a difference. If it does, leave me a comment. I’d love to hear your story.
Today I plan to publish this post, maybe find a suitable image for it, but definitely finish it up and publish.
This is one of my goals for today. What’s one of yours?
Thanks for stopping by the humble beginnings of my blog, and don’t forget to subscribe via RSS or by email for automatic updates.
Hope every one of you has a good, productive day. Tell me about it!

I’m in both camps, having 22 employees makes for a hectic day. Naturally there will be bright spots shining thru the dark clouds of Monday. For some reason snow crab legs, cold beer, and a good comedy helps me tolerate a bad day.
